Our approach blends evidence-based recreational therapy with adaptive fitness and community-based interventions to support physical, cognitive, and emotional recovery.
Each session is individualized and goal-directed, focusing on meaningful activities that promote independence, confidence, and real-world participation. Whether sessions take place in the home, community, or adaptive environments, we meet clients where they are and support measurable progress toward long-term independence.
Meet the Clinician
Megan Groat, CTRS, AIT is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist and Adaptive & Inclusive Trainer. She graduated from Central Michigan University and has extensive experience working in the neurological rehabilitation field. Megan specializes in community reintegration, helping individuals rebuild independence, confidence, and meaningful participation in everyday life.
Who We Serve
Evolve serves adults across Michigan who are rebuilding their lives following brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopedic trauma, and other neurological or physical conditions.
Clients often work with us to regain independence, improve endurance and confidence, re-enter the community safely, and return to meaningful activities such as fitness, social participation, and daily routines.
We collaborate closely with case managers, rehabilitation teams, and families to ensure continuity of care and clear communication throughout each client’s recovery process.
Services are available through Michigan Auto No-Fault Insurance and Private Pay.
